Our Annual Awards Evening celebrates the fantastic work being achieved within our SSP community.

Nominations can be submitted until Friday 5th July so get nominating.

AWARD CATEGORIES FOR NOMINATIONS 2018-19

1. OUTSTANDING YOUNG LEADER OF THE YEAR

Are you running our SSP ‘Take the Lead’ programme or do you have your own leadership scheme in school? We are looking for a pupil who has shown the most commitment to their role as a leader in sport.

 2. YOUNG OFFICIAL OF THE YEAR

The pupil who has significantly supported the SSP by being an outstanding official.

3. ADULT VOLUNTEER AWARD

Is there a parent, TA, caretaker or an adult in your school community who goes above and beyond to contribute to school sport? This is a great time to recognise their commitment.

4. TEAM OF THE YEAR - Achievement

Awarded to the school team who has achieved success at the highest level including competitions beyond Partnership level.

5. TEAM OF THE YEAR - Values

Awarded to the school team who may not have achieved great success but demonstrate the true values of team sport.

6. COACH OF THE YEAR

Speaks for itself - Adult or student.

7. OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION TO SCHOOL SPORT AWARD

 The pupil who has represented the school across a number of sports and has significantly impacted on team success to school-based sporting activity.

8. CHAMPAGNE MOMENT OF THE YEAR!

 Leaving this one open to interpretation…. surprise us!

9. PRIMARY SPORTING HONOURS (KS1/KS2/KS3)

Recognition of outstanding achievement by an individual to high level sporting activity outside school, County or above.

10. SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD (KS1/2/3)

Do you have a pupil who has overcome adversity to achieve in PE/Sport? This is a lovely opportunity to recognize their determination and effort.

11. ‘SPORT FOR ALL’ AWARD – Nominations from Head Teachers

Recognition of a school or head teacher who has demonstrates a whole school approach in raising standards for all pupils though participation in PE & Sport and promotion of physical activity.

12. PARKWOOD LEISURE COMMUNITY CUP

Special Recognition of outstanding contribution to PE and School Sport within the community or school community. Can be for an individual or group or organization.

13. PARTNERSHIP AWARDS

Decided by the Ashton Park School Sport Partnership.
