Yr 3/4 Mini Tennis Competiton

  • When: Wed 13th Jun 18 9:30 am - 13:00 pm
  • David Lloyd Bristol South Ashton Road Bristol

This is one of two dates 12th or 13th June so you can choose the one that suits you best but only one date!

it is a competition but the emphasis is on fun.

This competition also leads through to a County Final, which will be held on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at the Summer School Games at Bath University

Team Composition:

-          Teams must be made up of 4 players, 2 boys and 2 girls.

-          Schools may enter a maximum of three teams.

-          Players should be from year 3 or/and 4 (any mix).

-          Players will need to be ranked, with player 1 being the strongest.

-          County level players are able to enter if you have any!

Each player plays a singles match per fixture – 1 v 1 / 2 v 2 / 3 v 3 / 4 v 4.

Every point counts – to ensure that each individual in the team contributes to the overall score, the total will be calculated by the amount of points won in each match not the amount of matches won. Further details will be provided on the format of the tournament once the closing date has passed.

This is a really exciting opportunity for your children to represent your school and themselves in a nationally recognised competition structure.

We will have mini tennis equipment for those schools who do not have any.

NB Children will need to bring packed lunches as this event will run beyond lunchtime!
