‘What A Wonderful World’ KS 1 Dance Festivals…..

…. and what a wonderful show of dance over 7 different days and venues. More than 1600 youngsters entertained the audience with their dances that they had been practising during their curriculum time. The standard was impressive and the quality of dance teaching is improving year by year.

The children performed dances to remind us how much we have to celebrate in our ‘wonderful world’. Rainbows, Jungles, Rainfall, Stars, The Arctic Circle, Seasons, Oceans, Friends and Dinosaurs were all featured and expressed through dance.

Sir David Attenborough provided inspiration for the mass participation warm up with his unique version of ‘What a wonderful World’. I am certain he would approve of the high quality dance performances to highlight the wonders of our world we live in!!

I wonder what the theme will be next year!!
