Ireland World Cup Tag Champs!!

 World Cup Tag Rugby

Way back in September, the real Rugby World Cup (of the Tag variety) was being fiercely battled out every fortnight at Broadplain RFC between primary school teams representing the World Cup Nations. After two postponed finals sessions, the weather was finally kind to us, and in a very competitive and high quality environment, Ireland (aka headley Park Primary) came out the eventual winners with France (aka St Patricks Primary) runners up by one point.

This has been a great event with a noticable improvement in the standard of play over the sessions.

Many thanks to the guys from Broadplain RFC who hosted and refereed for us in such a professional way, Nick, Marcel and Mark.

Cheddar Grove parents get the prize for the best dressed supporters donning hats with corks as well as an inflatable kangaroo at all the sessions!!
