'Bristol primary school netball going strong'

Over 20 yr 5/6 league teams from across Bristol came together for the end of season celebration netball festival at Ashton Park School on 26th May.

The sun shone throughout and we were treated to a great morning of play culminating in a very exciting final between St Bonaventure's and Ashton Vale. The teams were tied at the final whistle and after playing 'golden' goal, Ashton Vale snatched the decider to take the winners trophy. A big 'well done' to all teams, we were very impressed with the high standard of play as well as the spirit in which games were played.

The league group trophies were also given out at a presentation at the end of the festival. This year over 40 teams from primary schools competed in the year 5/6 7-aside and the year 3/4 high 5 leagues. This is tribute to the hard work and effort of teachers and coaches. A really big thanks to them for making this all possible!

See you next year!
