Tour De Cheddar Grove & New Oak!!!
Intrepid cycling teams from Cheddar Grove & New Oak Primary were lucky to be chosen to represent the area along with Primary Schools from Somerset to compete in a pursuit challenge in Wells before the Tour of Britain 6th Stage passed through.

High standard at tag finals!
Last Friday 12 teams attended the partnership tag rugby finals held at Broadplain RFC. Everyone enjoyed a great festival and organisers were really impressed with the standard of play as well as the spirit in which games were played

90 KS1 pupils from the Bridge learning Campus cluster enjoyed an outdoor activities festival in the depths of Leighwoods at the end of April.

Bristol Festival of School Sport a huge success!
Over 1200 secondary school pupils enjoyed a day at the three day Bristol Festival of School Sport last week at Combe Dingle University Sports Complex.

'Cold but Bold!!"
Icy cold didn't stop the year 5/6 netball teams from playing at Ashton Park on Thursday. The standard of play was really promising throughout and teams and spectators cheered one another on.

Bristol shows it's got talent..DANCE talent!
Over 1200 pupils took part in five different performances at 'Stages' 2010 at the Colston Hall in February. The age range was from reception to sixth form and audiences were treated to a whole range of dance from contemporary to urban.

Give me five...High 5!
Had a great turn out for the year 3/4 High 5 netball festival last Thursday at Ashton. Mixed teams really showed off their developing skills under the floodlights and with the help of Yr 12 sports leaders.

KS1 pupils get up to some 'Monkey Business!'
KS1 pupils from the Ashton Park cluster came together this week for a morning of dance in the secondary school hall to share some of the work they have been doing in curriculum time.

Primary Sportshall Athletics goes down a treat at Merchants Academy
We held our first primary Sportshall Athletics festivals at Merchants Academy in the run up to Christmas. The two events went down a treat with both pupils and teachers as it was something new and all pupils got the chance to try out different athletic activities. The noise level was something to behold as excitement reached fever pitch for the relays.

'Synchronicity' dance well on the way to success!
A primary dance group 'Synchronicity' has been formed in the Ashton Park Cluster to bring together pupils who show talent in dance.
