Having taught for many years as a PE specialist and Primary School teacher, I am now SSCO for Ashton Park School. I love the variety of the job, as no two days are the same. Working with young people across all the key stages, both Primary School and Secondary School teachers, community coaches and other agencies is so diverse, rewarding and fulfilling. Although one of the oldest SSCOs in our partnership, I am still young at heart and have bundles of energy and passion for PE and sport. I enjoy being at the cutting edge of new and exciting initiatives to promote physical activity and to engage children to lead a healthy lifestyle.
Still involved in sport myself, I can often be seen out running in all weathers to keep myself fit and healthy to deal with the demands of this job that I love!
