What is Virtual Competition?

This competition has been produced to enable Year 1-6 children to participate, engage and develop skills in fun, safe and friendly environments. Virtual competition allows children from schools in our SSP to compete against each other without leaving their individual school, therefore enabling opportunities for both inter and intra school competition.

The multi skill activities in our virtual programme look at improving and developing individual’s FUNdamental skills such as speed, agility, and balance and co ordination. It will also help to identify those children that are gifted and talented.

This scheme of work can be run in various environments such as indoor / outdoor, in curriculum time, lunchtimes or breakfast / after school sessions. A major focus of this competition could be involving Y5/6 Young Leaders to run and supervise activities.

Most importantly virtual competition is FUN, EASY to organise and TOTALLY inclusive!!!
