Sport Unlimited

WHAT IS SPORT UNLIMITED?

Sport Unlimited is part of the new five hour offer for young people in England. Nationally, £36m of new Government funding for young people's sport has been ring fenced for this programme by Sport England.

Sport Unlimited funding is targeted at 'semi-sporty' children, young people and young adults living in Bristol. It will engage them in an extra 1-2 hours a week (minimum 10-weeks) of high quality sport and physical activity.

8-week sessions are being organised across Bristol in a variety of activities from parkour to climbing and football to cheerleading. All of these sessions can be found on this web page others will be added as and when they are up and running.

Sport Unlimited in Bristol is supported by the Bristol School Sport Partnerships and The West of England Sport Trust (Wesport).

'Sport Unlimited Plus' is the name for the school holiday programme of activities, coordinated across Bristol by Sports Services. Every school break a wide range of sports and leisure activities are available through this citywide programme for children and young people aged four to 16. For information about what activities are available during the school holidays visit  Sport Unlimited Plus on the Bristol City Council website.
