Our Annual Awards Evening celebrates the fantastic work being achieved within our SSP community.

AWARD CATEGORIES FOR NOMINATIONS 2015-16

1. YOUNG LEADER OF THE YEAR (PRIMARY/SECONDARY)

Recognition of an individual, within a primary school, who has excelled in their volunteering

through ability, commitment and enthusiasm NB Individual nominations only

 

2. ‘ELLA REDMAN’ AWARD - LEADER OF THE YEAR (POST 16)

Recognition of an individual over 16 years of age, who has excelled in their volunteering through ability, commitment and enthusiasm

 

3. ADULT VOLUNTEER AWARD

Recognition of the invaluable support given to schools by an adult volunteer

 

4. MOST IMPROVED TEAM OF THE YEAR

Recognition of a school team who has shown a marked improvement throughout the year

 

5. TEAM OF THE YEAR

Recognition of outstanding achievement by a school team this year

 

6. COACH OF THE YEAR

Recognition of an individual who has helped a team develop though the true values of sport

 

7. SCHOOL SPORT AWARD

 Recognition of outstanding contribution by an individual to school-based sporting activity

 

8. PRIMARY SPORTING HONOURS (KS1 & KS2)

Recognition of outstanding achievement by an individual to sporting activity outside school

 

9. SECONDARY SPORTING HONOURS

Recognition of outstanding achievement by an individual to sporting activity outside school

 

10. SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Recognition of an individual or team who have overcome physical, difficulties to achieve in their chosen activity learning or social

 

11. HEAD TEACHERS AWARD

Recognition of the positive impact an individual has had at their school in raising whole -school physical activity levels. Nominations from Head teachers only

 

12. ‘SPORT FOR ALL’ AWARD

Recognition of a school or head teacher who demonstrates a whole school approach in raising standards for all pupils though participation in PE & Sport

 

13. COMMUNITY SPORT AWARD

Recognition of outstanding contribution to PE and School Sport within the community or school community

 

14. PARTNERSHIP AWARDS

Decided by the Ashton Park School Sport Partnership
