The year 3&4 tennis programme will involve curriculum coaching for yr 3/4 pupils followed by this SSP competition leading through to a County Final, which will be held on Wednesday 20th June 2012 at the Summer School Games at Bath University

Team Composition:

-          Teams must be made up of 4 players, 2 boys and 2 girls.

-          Schools may enter a maximum of two teams.

-          Players should be from year 3 and/or 4.

-          Players will need to be ranked, with player 1 being the strongest.

-          County level players will not be able to enter.

Further details will be provided on the format of the tournament once the closing date has passed. 

This is a really exciting opportunity for your children to represent your school and themselves in a nationally recognised competition structure in the lead up to the 2012 Olympics in London.

All Schools entering the competition will be eligible for the following:-

Schools – 30 mini tennis red felt balls and 30 mini tennis sponge balls and a roll of barrier tape

Players – Each school entering is eligible for 4 of its pupils to Receive a FREE mini tennis Babolat racket and ball set. (Limited to 1^st 10,000 applicants)

You will receive the application to apply for this award once you have entered for the Level 2 competition

Every Level 2 competition will be held at a recognised tennis venue by licensed LTA tennis coaches so the highest levels of best practise, child protection and health and safety will be attained.
