This CPD opportunity is available to any adult teaching dance not just those accompanying school groups.
Our Learning Festivals are an innovative way of combining pupil attainment with staff development.
This festival will demonstrate fun personalised approach to teaching dance where all pupils are included, challenged and supported through a series of progressive dance activities to maximise their potential.
The dance activities can be easily adapted to suit any dance theme or idea.
Teachers will learn how to place independent learning at the heart of teaching dance, adopting a multi-ability approach to develop personal, social, cognitive and creative abilities as well as physical ones.
Year 5 pupils from nearby schools will be participating.
