The aim of the tournament is to provide players with a fantastic day's cricket, with the emphasis on participation and enjoyment for all. The games are always competitive too!
This tournament is open to any school within Bristol and is for Girls only teams in Yr 6 and below.
The tournament will be hosted by Shirehampton Cricket Club on Tues 7th June 2011, 12:30 arrival, for a 1pm start - 5pm finish (for finalists) - 3:30pm (all others).
Registration: You cannot enter this event on the school competition website. Please register your entry by returning the reply slip at the back of the invite letter attached, to Steve Silk, Gloucestershire Cricket Development Manager, 01179 108009/ 07554 452228/ steve.silk@glosccc.co.uk
Closing date for entries: Friday 6th May 2011.
If your school cannot attend the tournament designated for your partnership area, then you can attend one of the other dates within gloucestershire - please speak to Steve Silk for more info.
The top placed Ashton Park school will go on to represent South Bristol at the Somerset County Final on 21st June, Bath Recreation Ground.
You may have a squad of between 8 and 10 players. Schools can enter up to two teams initially to include as many schools as possible. If there are available spaces once the closing date has passed, we will fill these up with additional teams from interested schools.
Please ensure your team come prepared with a snacks, drinks, a hat and sun cream.
