Physical Education for NQT's in Primary Schools

This course is focussed on ‘including, challenging and supporting the whole child through PE’. It is a mix of theory and lots of practical designed to:

Provide the confidence to deliver high quality PE and lessons by including, challenging and supporting the child.

Place PE at the heart of the curriculum and link it with other school aims.

Teaching Swimming in Primary Schools

The course is Module 1 of the ASA Certificate for Teaching School Swimming (Key Stages 1 and 2). Once qualified the holder will be equipped to actively assist and/or support a more qualified teacher in the teaching of a range of core aquatic skills to a small group of similar ability within the context of a school swimming programme. For this course an attendance certificate as well as a set of TOPs cards will be issued.

Outdoor Learning Card programme for Primary Schools Course

The course covers the 4 key areas of team building, orienteering, journeying and bouldering. It will show how personal and social skills are developed as well as curriculum areas such as geography and PE.
