Ashton Vale and Headley Park go head to head in Quicksticks Final

14 schools competed in our first Quicksticks hockey competition on Wednesday 19th March. For most players it was their first taste of playing in a match and it was obvious how the standard of play improved over the afternoon. The year 5 & 6 pupils throughly enjoyed the excitment of all the matches and with volunteers on hand from Knowle Hockey Club to referee and coach the youngsters many will be inspired to continue playing outside school. Ashton Vale and Headley Park were winners of their pools and played an exciting final match. Ashton Vale were the champions and both teams will proceed to the level 3 County finals at Bristol Grammar School on 24th April. We wish them the very best of luck!
