X- Country Fun in the Mud!!

Once again, we hosted the Bristol Schools X-Country Event at Ashton Park School.

The sun shone the day before and the day after....but on the day it poured down turning a beautifully manicured field quite quickly into a muddy course.

Perfect conditions for X Country and the runners loved it!!

Over 300 children ran representing over 25 schools from across Bristol and were well supported by parents and teachers.

The effort and enthusiasm made for a fantastic atmosphere and all runners should be very proud of themselves.

The first 16 girls and boys to finish in the yr 5/6 races have been invited to represent Bristol in the McCains Challenge on Sunday 28th October at Ashton Court.
