Girls Football2
The Ashton Park SSP central venue primary girls’ football league kicked off last Thursday at South Bristol Sports Centre. Despite rolling showers of heavy rain the teams just ‘got on with it’ without any complaint and really enjoyed the opportunity to meet and play teams from other schools.
The girls enjoyed a brief talk from professional football player Annie Heatherson, Senior Ambassador for Bristol WFC Academy and as always Somerset FA were there to support and encourage the girls to join local clubs. The next session is 17th May 4pm.
