From the three qualifying events held at Oasis Academy, Bedminster Down and Ashton Park, the three winners and highest runner up met at St Bernadette School to compete in the partnership finals.
Waycroft Academy, Headley Park, St Patricks and St Bernadettes were the four schools who battled it out. With a great turn out from parents. The atmosphere was absolutely buzzing and at times I thought the roof was going to be lifted off with the noise!!!
It turned out to be a great competition, with schools taking it in turns to lead in the early stages and all schools taking honours in relay events, it couldn't have been closer.
However, proving that strength and depth thoughout gains the results, St Patricks crept into the lead with high scores across the board in the field events especially the speed bounce.

They surged ahead to win overall 36 points ahead of runners up Headley Park.
We wish St Patricks all the best when they go on to represent our area for the second year running in the County Competition at the Winter School Games at UWE. I'm sure they'll do us proud!!
