60 year 5 pupils who have been identified as talented in PE came together for a two day multi-skill academy at Ashton Park School.
The budding sports stars were put through their paces in a variety of fitness tests, multi skill activities and games, all under the watchful eye of yr 12 & 13 sports leaders and coaches. Year 9 sports leaders were responsible for managing the groups as part of their leadership development. Members of the UWE sport development team were on hand to analyze tests and spot outstanding talent. A number of pupils will progress to a year 6 squad at UWE next academic year where they will join youngsters from North, Central & East Bristol.
